Welcome to Braxto.com

Hello World! Welcome to Braxto.com.

This is the first of many updates to come to Braxto.com. We will be constantly adding photos, music, artwork and more from the mind of Braxton Charles Shiplett. Our dear friend passed away on January 24, 2011 at his home in Willoughby, Ohio.  His creativity and unique sense of humor combined together to make works of art that are at once beautiful and disturbing, playful and sincere. His mastery of the English language allowed not only gorgeous prose and flowing poetry, but also an insight into his trying life with an astonishingly honest perspective. We will attempt to capture, classify, organize and distribute basically anything that Braxton created throughout his life. Be sure to visit often.

This blog will serve not only the purpose of announcing new additions to Braxto.com, but also posting other links to sites with relevant stories that would have been of interest to Braxto, humorous rants, controversial topics, and blistering pure fucking unadulterated hatred of the stupidity, selfishness, and overall moronic worthlessness that tends to ooze from the pores of the misinformed and disillusioned populace of this silly little rock we call home.

Stay tuned.

Please feel free to donate any money for the upkeep and preservation of Braxto.com.

  1. Hello Braxto Dot Com from Rodheh.

Braxton was such a funny guy. Glad his work is getting out in a more in-depth way.

  3. Most of these poems were given to me, and written for me by Braxton when we were in love. To see them posted on a a website is unbelieveable. His words his love for me bring tears to my eyes.

  4. My cousin Braxton had an insight to perception that few others have had. He saw things not just from a different perspective but from multiple angles. He never once saw things from the given perspective. That wasn't his nature. In other words, it was unnatural for him to see things as most people do so it wasn't some great leap for Braxton to see things differently. I don't know if that makes any sense.
